Besides ponds and streams, where do mosquitoes breed?
Interior Services
Any pest problem must start with proper identification. The first step in pest control is understanding what you are dealing with. Listening to the customer and getting their view is ALWAYS the first step
A proper inspection and identification of the affected area is the next step to control any pest problem. This inspection will identify the problem pest, and give us a good indication as to what type of control is necessary. At Whitley Exterminators we employ an Integrated Pest Management approach or IPM. We use a variety of control options from simple physical barriers and insect monitors to recommendations about sanitation and finally when necessary we apply chemical control.
As stated above we at Whitley Exterminators us an IPM approach to control any pest problem. We have simplified the process in the following way. Pest control can reasonably be accomplished by using this formula. Inspection, Identification ,Sanitation ,Exclusion and finally Chemical application when necessary. We are not just "guys with a sprayer".
Exterior Perimeter service is crucial to the overall success of any pest control program.
Our exterior approach includes the inspection of the perimeter to insure that no obvious conducive conditions such as debris that could serve as nesting or harborage areas exist. Next any food sources such as trash cans or other refuse close to the structure. Standing water such as air conditioning drains or leaking water hoses can sustain many types of pests and those items must be corrected in order to achieve the best pest control.
Once the inspection and identification phase is complete, and corrections have been made for any conducive conditions ,an exterior chemical barrier can be placed around the perimeter using one of many products. The proper product along with the volume and frequency of application will be determined by the pests identified and in accordance with the product label. ALL CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRODUCT LABEL.
The eaves of any house can be susceptible to insect and spider activity. It is very important to make sure that the eaves of any house are free from insect activity such as ants , American roaches, as well as their natural predators like spiders. Wasps and hornets also try to make your eaves their home. We at Whitley Exterminators take special care to eliminate any insect or spider activity around the eaves by using the spider brush to remove webs and any wasp or hornet nests we see.
